Well, that’s what happens when you move to a brand new location – sometimes it takes GPS, Google, Mapquest, etc. a little time to find you.  Right now, the physical tasting room is a bit tough to find, but well worth the effort!  To trick your GPS into getting you here, enter the address of 497 1st Street.

Avila has two main streets that run parallel to each other:  Front Street, which runs right along the beach, and 1st Street, which is one block back from the ocean.  Landing Passage is a new paseo that connects 1st Street to Front Street.  Basically, it connects the public parking lot to the pier.  Landing Passage is halfway between San Francisco Street and San Miguel Street on the 1st Street side.

Avila Beach Drive runs mostly East-West (remember, Avila is a south-facing beach). From Avila Beach Drive, take 1st St./San Juan (not San Miguel) which will put you on 1st Street.  Then, we are just opposite the public parking lot pay station, behind Taco Shack.

A NOTE:  Due to the size of our tasting room and our desire to make sure that everyone gets personal attention and an amazing wine tasting experience, we cannot accommodate groups larger than 6 without prior notice.  And, regretfully, Morovino cannot accommodate Bachelorette parties (if you would like to know why, please see Mrs. Vino’s Rant on the Ask Mrs. Vino page of this website).
