This very limited edition wine is the epitome of all things Malbec.  We were so lucky to get this amazing fruit from the Valley View Vineyard in Santa Ynez.  Our long-term relationship with the grower, Louis Lucas (aka The Dirtman), gave us access to Malbec in a year that had PERFECT growing conditions for this amazing grape.

Ideally, a wine makes itself with just a bit of gentle guidance from the winemaker – this is that wine.  We crushed it.  We fermented it.  We barreled it.  We tasted it – we smiled!  And every time we have tasted it since, the smiles have just gotten larger.
